			Dear esteemed yacht athletes,
It is with great pleasure that I extend my heartfelt congratulations on the hosting of the 19th YISUNSIN CUP International Yacht Race in Tongyeong,
a city embraced by the breathtaking beauty of the Hallyeo Waterway.
First and foremost, I hope this event becomes a truly memorable experience for all. Dear yacht family, yachting is a sport that demands reading the wind and waves, and pushing beyond one’s limits. It is a journey of communion with nature and self-reflection, offering a resonance like no other sport.
This year, Tongyeong has earned yet another honor. The city has been officially selected as the Korean stopover port for the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, and we eagerly anticipate welcoming sailing teams from across the globe.
This milestone will further elevate Tongyeong’s status as a central hub for marine leisure and yacht culture, both domestically and internationally. I hope this regatta serves as a stage to once again celebrate the beauty and spirit of yachting, and that all participants will create lasting memories through safe and exhilarating voyage.
The Tongyeong City Council remains committed to supporting the continued growth of yachting and marine sports culture.
In closing, I wish all athletes a safe journey and spirited competition, and I wholeheartedly cheer for your dreams and challenges.
